Aussies welcome TV drama 800 Words

The void left by the departure of Australian dramas Offspring and Packed to the Rafters has been well and truly filled by 800 Words.

The premiere of the new Australian/New Zealand production, airing on the Seven Network, drew over 1.219 million viewers on Tuesday night, according to OzTAM.

Starring Rafters actor Erik Thomson, the drama was the second most watched show on Australian free-to-air TV, only beaten by Nine News (1.223).
