Australia’s trade balance has stayed in the red with a deficit of $2.933 billion in June, following a deficit in May of $2.677 billion.

Economists had expected a deficit of $3.0 billion in June.

Exports rose three per cent, while imports were up four per cent, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday.
